Work with facilities and engineering manager to direct the day-to-day work of the electrical and mechanical staff on an assigned shift. Keep other shifts and related production departments informed of activities, concerns and problems Assist in scheduling, work assignments, performance feedback and ordering of parts and equipment. Provide hands-on electrical support services, working on systems and equipment throughout the building by checking and fixing equipment on a routine basis and by following a preventive maintenance schedule. Troubleshoot equipment to avoid future repairs assess operational needs and recommend improvement in equipment and/or procedures Work with production supervisors and production support manager to respond to and resolve operational problems and malfunctions to assure efficient, safe, electrical operation.
